What do standards do? | Standards provide guidance for when a specific countermeasure should move from recommended to required on the threat model. |
How are standards applied? |
Standards can be applied to the threat model from the threats tab. A list of all applicable standards that apply to the recommended countermeasures will appear in this list. Once a specific countermeasure has been selected, those countermeasures will move from a recommended to a required status. |
How are new standards defined? |
New standards are defined on the security content tab > standards.

How are countermeasures added to new standards? |
Each countermeasure that needs to be added to the standard must have a standard tag applied to it within its respective library. |
