'Broken Pipe' Error in IriusRisk Logs

If you receive the following generic error when using IriusRisk on-prem,

it's a good idea to follow up by searching the logs for the corresponding error code.

If the error in the logs that corresponds to the above message is similar to the following error:

[http-nio-8080-exec-2521] ERROR com.iriusrisk.error.logger.IriusDefaultErrorLogger - [abc-123-xyz-456] Unexpected error encountered Try refreshing the browser; if this does not solve the problem then please submit the application logs to our support team.

Caused by: java.io.IOException: Broken pipe

Then this 'Broken pipe' message is a benign error that indicates that network connectivity was temporarily interrupted, and can largely be ignored. If there are numerous and chronic instances of this error message however, it can indicate network connectivity issues on your local network or local machine between your on-prem instance.
