Introduction
Similar to the functionality already available in the Threats view, we have the option to "Hide N/A Countermeasures." This feature is enabled by default and aims to simplify and streamline your threat model output, allowing you to focus on the most relevant information.
The Benefits
Enhanced Visibility
By automatically hiding N/A countermeasures, IriusRisk ensures that your threat model output remains focused on actionable information. This feature eliminates unnecessary clutter, providing a clearer view of the countermeasures that are applicable and relevant to your specific context.
Improved Management
Managing threat models becomes more efficient with this feature. Irrelevant or non-applicable countermeasures are hidden by default, saving you time and allowing you to concentrate on addressing the countermeasures that matter most to your security posture.
Where to Find It?
- Open your project and navigate to the 'Countermeasures' tab
- When on the 'Countermeasures' tab, look for the 'eye' icon. When you click this, a drop-down appears
- As you can see, it is enabled by default. If you wish to disable this feature, simply click on the 'Hide N/A countermeasures' to uncheck it
Conclusion
By automatically hiding N/A countermeasures, IriusRisk empowers you to manage your threat model output more effectively, ensuring that your focus remains on the countermeasures that are relevant to your unique security challenges.
