Introduction
Managing user accounts in IriusRisk is an essential part of maintaining a secure and organized environment for your team. This guide will walk you through the steps to disable and enable user accounts.
Use Case
You have an account used for testing, but you do not wish for it to be accessible all the time. Disabling the account temporarily ensures that it remains in your system without granting access.
Disabling a User Account
-
Log into IriusRisk, making sure you have the correct level of access to edit user accounts.
-
In the top right corner, click on the gear cog icon. From the dropdown menu, select 'Users and permissions.'
-
Locate the user account that you wish to disable in the user list. In the 'Actions' column for that user, click on the three dots (ellipsis) and select 'Disable.'
-
A prompt will appear, informing you that a disabled user will lose all access to the platform, but their data will remain intact. Confirm your action by selecting 'Disable user.'
-
The user account will now be disabled. You can easily identify disabled user accounts by the circle-backslash symbol, located to the left of the user's name in the first column.
