Introduction

If we make changes to a library, existing threat models will not automatically be updated with the new changes. This can cause some confusion so this article will explain how to resolve this.

Steps

1. Make changes to the custom library of your choice
2. Navigate back to 'Security content' > 'Libraries'
3. Select the library you have made changes to.
4. Navigate to 'Apply to projects'

5. Select the projects you wish to update with the changes > Select Done

Note: this only needs done if we want to update existing threat models already using this library. Adding a component to your threat model from these libraries will automatically contain the updated versions.
