Within Iriusrisk users have the ability to filter and organize both threats and countermeasures based on various criteria. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to apply filters to both threats and countermeasures, making it easier for you to analyze and manage your threat model efficiently.
Applying Filters to Threats
Step 1: Navigate to the Threats Tab

Log in to your IriusRisk account.

On the main dashboard, you will find a navigation menu on the left. Click on the "Threats" tab to access the Threats section.
Step 2: Filter Threats
- Once you are in the Threats section, you will see some options at the top. Click on the "Filter" icon, which resembles a funnel or filter cone.
Step 3: Select Filter Categories and Values

A filter dialog box will appear. Here, you can choose the criteria you want to filter your threats by. The available categories for filtering threats include:
- Library
- Tags
- Current risk
- Risk response
- Component
- Use case
- Owner
- Source
- Weakness test
- Countermeasure progress
- Countermeasure test result

Click on the category you wish to filter by and then select the specific value(s) you want to apply as a filter.

After selecting your filter criteria, you will also have the option to "Clear all filters"
Now, your threats are filtered based on the criteria you specified, allowing you to focus on the specific threat information that matters most to you.
Applying Filters to Countermeasures
Step 1: Navigate to the Countermeasures Tab

In the left-hand navigation menu, click on the "Countermeasures" tab to access the Countermeasures section.
Step 2: Filter Countermeasures
- Once you are in the Countermeasures section, locate the "Filter" icon at the top, which resembles a funnel or filter cone. Click on it.
Step 3: Select Filter Categories and Values

A filter dialog box will appear, similar to the one for filtering threats. Here, you can choose from the following categories to filter your countermeasures:
- State
- Tags
- Test result
- Component
- Priority
- Issue ID
- Test expiry date
- Owner

Click on the category you wish to filter by and then select the specific value(s) you want to use as a filter.

After selecting your filter criteria, you will also have the option to "Clear all filters"
